Presenters:

• Liz Pirnat - Head Spirits Educator  - our resident WSET Spirits expert, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, holding a WSET Level 3 Spirits certification and the prestigious Diploma in Wine & Spirits. Liz is also an Executive Bourbon Steward from the Stave and Thief Society. She currently leads as the head spirits instructor at Napa Valley Wine Academy, teaching WSET Spirits Levels 1 and 2. Beyond spirits, Liz is an avid Peloton enthusiast and a lover of musical theater.

• Desiree Harrison-Brown  - Wine Educator - is a celebrated wine educator at Napa Valley Wine Academy, teaching WSET Levels 1 and 2. Recognized on Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s 2022 Future 40 List, Desiree is also the founder of Wino Shop, a lifestyle brand promoting positive representation of the Black community in the wine industry. Her passion for wine began with local tastings in Maryland, and she now holds WSET certifications at levels 1, 2, and 3.

• Stephen Staples - Instructional Designer & Beer Educator -  is a WSET Level 4 Diploma graduate and a Certified WSET Beer Instructor. With a Graduate Certificate in Brewing and Advanced Cicerone certification, Stephen has extensive international experience in the alcohol industry. He is also a National BJCP Judge, emphasizing his expertise in beer. Outside of his professional achievements, Stephen enjoys surfing, building igloos, and spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Huxley.
