FAQ
We are the movers and shakers in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry. We make fermented and alcoholic beverages with the highest possible quality. We are the women and non-binary individuals that own the companies, package the product, design the labels, serve the drinks, write about our industry – and just about everything in between. Most importantly, we teach each other what we know through our own seminar programs, and we help each other advance both front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house careers by raising money for educational scholarships.
PBS membership is open to women and non-binary individuals who are actively employed or retired from a career in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry, who are in the process of opening a fermented/alcoholic beverage industry business, or are currently studying/training in preparation to enter a career in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry. Select your Primary chapter when you join (or select National if there is not a chapter near you). 
Professional and Business in Planning memberships may join an additional chapter for $10 which includes access to their community and chapter events. (excludes chapter specific scholarships).
PBS scholarships are open to Members of Pink Boots Society who are current on dues.
No, but you can request an event be posted to the PBS calendar using our “Add an Event” form—as long as it’s focused on Pink Boots Society.

Aspiring Membership

Open to women and non-binary individuals currently studying/training in preparation to enter a career in the Fermented/Alcoholic Beverage Industry. This membership type is limited duration needed to complete educational course required to qualify for the Professional Membership type. 

USA - $35 USD annually

International - $23 USD annually

Business in Planning Membership

Open to women and non-binary individuals in the process of opening a fermented/alcohol beverage related business, such as a brewery, taproom, brewpub, tasting room, bar, bottle shop or other service provider focused specifically on the Fermented/Alcoholic Beverage Industry.

USA - $51 USD annually

International - $24 USD annually
