Allagash Brewing Company in Portland, Maine seeks an experienced (at least 2 years in a brand support/sales role) New Hampshire and Northern Vermont Territory Sales Manager, covering the Amoskeag (NH) and Baker North (Northern VT) territories, to join our sales team and drive sales in these vibrant markets.  Experience working with or for a wholesaler is preferred.  Essential to this position is the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of co-workers, customers, and wholesalers.  This position requires extensive knowledge of the Alcohol category and the ability to educate wholesalers, retailers, and consumers to maximize sales potential. Expert level organizational ability, including time management, is a must to be successful.  Highly proficient computer skills, with an understanding of Google Suite or the equivalent, KARMA CRM, Concur expense system, I-Dig, and the ability to learn new technologies as they become relevant is expected.   You can expect to spend over 70% of your time in the trade visiting accounts, completing work-withs with wholesaler reps, and hosting consumer activation events.

This is a salaried, full-time position.  We are offering $68,500-$80,000 base compensation for this role, and an individual offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.  Additionally, this position is eligible for our sales incentives program, with the potential to earn up to an additional $7,500 each year, as well as annual company wide profit sharing.  We are proud to provide excellent benefits including: 100% paid premiums for employee health, dental, life and disability benefits; free mental health counseling; generous paid time off; paid volunteer time; up to $5,250 annually for continuing education; fitness reimbursements; and 401(k) with employer match up to 4%.  A comprehensive onboarding process will take place at the brewery in Portland, Maine and in the NH/VT market. This position requires evening and weekend hours, and a valid driver's license.  Occasional travel to and from the brewery is required. This position will be based in Manchester, NH or the surrounding area.  All members of the sales team are eligible for: laptop; cell phone and internet stipend; travel and expense accounts; and Fitness in the Field reimbursement.
