Allagash Brewing Company, a Maine-based craft brewery known for its dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainable practices, is looking for a passionate and driven Field Sales Representative (FSR) to join our team in the Chicago and downstate Illinois market. As a FSR, you’ll spend most of your time out in the market- meeting with existing accounts, introducing our beers to new customers, and ensuring that Allagash is well represented on shelves and draft lists. You’ll be the face of Allagash in the region, fostering strong partnerships with accounts and distributor reps, executing events, and maintaining the highest standards of brand quality.
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships in an energetic and evolving market. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with the broader sales team to meet goals and drive Allagash’s growth in the market. This role involves a mix of on- and off-premise account visits, in-store activations, staff trainings, and events, requiring flexibility, creativity, and a proactive approach to driving sales and brand engagement. Prior experience in sales, hospitality, or within the three-tier system is preferred, but we’re most interested in your ability to build relationships and create enthusiasm around our brand.
This is a salaried, full-time position. The salary range is $55,000-$70,000 base compensation for this role, and an individual offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, this position is eligible for our sales incentives program, with the potential to earn up to an additional $6,000 each year, as well as annual company wide profit sharing. A comprehensive onboarding process will take place at the brewery in Portland, Maine and in the Illinois market. A minimum of two trips to the brewery are planned every year to meet in-person with the sales team and dedicate time on campus to immerse yourself in all things Allagash. Travel to other markets may also be required to support business activities and needs.
This position requires some evening and weekend hours, and a valid driver's license. Air travel and overnight travel is required. This position will be based in the city of Chicago. All members of the sales team are eligible for: laptop; cell phone and internet stipend; travel and expense accounts; Fitness in the Field reimbursement; and company vehicle.
