Philadelphia Chapter - Fall Bus Trip with Sly Fox Brewing and Ploughman Cider

We’re going on an adventure, and we hope you’ll join us! Our next event is happening on Monday, November 25th, and it’s an all-day outing into the ‘burbs. Our gracious hosts, Sly Fox Brewing Co. and Ploughman Cider, will guide us through a day of beer and cider.

The best part? You don’t need to worry about transportation! We’re chartering a bus with pick-up and drop-off locations in Philly and Pottstown.

The bus will depart from Forin Cafe (2525 Frankford Ave.) in Philly around 9am. From there, we will head to Sly Fox Brewing (331 Circle of Progress Dr.) in Pottstown which will act as a second pick-up location as well as our first tour stop of the day. The fine folks at Sly Fox will guide us through a tour of their production brewery and a tasting of some of their delicious brews.

We’ll hit the road for Ploughman’s Gettysburg tasting room where we will sample some of their fantastic ciders while indulging in some snacks before heading to Three Springs Fruit Farm for a tour of the orchard where Ploughman’s fruit is grown.

Estimated Schedule:

9 AM - Bus pick up 1 @ Forin Cafe Frankford Ave in Philly
10:30 AM - Bus pick up 2 @ Sly Fox Brewing in Pottstown (brewery tour and tasting)
12 PM - Depart for Ploughman Taproom in Gettysburg
2 PM - Arrive at Gettysburg Taproom for cider and snacks
4 PM - Head to 3 Springs Fruit Farm Orchard & Cidery Tour
6:30 PM - Depart for Sly Fox Brewing
8 PM - Est. Arrival @ Sly Fox Brewing - Drop off 1
10 PM - Est. Arrival @ Forin Cafe - Drop off 2
