Greetings!
I am Dana Burns, currently Sales Representative for Caiseal Beer & Spirits Co., operated out of The Vanguard Brewpub & Distillery in the Historic Armory building in Downtown Hampton, VA. Previously a Head Bartender at Oozlefinch Beers + Blending for almost 3 years, I could not imagine my career path winding in any direction other than through the ever-changing climate of Craft Beer and Distilled Spirits. Encompassing my love for interpersonal communication as well as discussing and learning the product, each and every day.
I owe my introduction to this industry to Erin Dougherty (now owner of Eleanor's Intersectional Bottle Shop and Bookstore in Ghent) for giving me a chance during the pandemic and bringing me on at The Birch in the Chelesa District of Ghent; which to this day, remains one of my favorite craft beer bars in Virginia.
Very much looking forward to becoming involved with the Pink Boots Society in Hampton Roads and getting to know the beautiful women that make the society everything it has blossomed into.
