Charlotte Chapter - CBP Connects

Raleigh Chapter - CBP Connects

Scholarship Value: Registration + $200 travel stipend

CBP Connects presented by Arryved are workshops held across the United States, providing collaborative and educational opportunities for Craft Beer Professionals. Andrew Coplon, the founder of CBP has graciously provided the Raleigh PBS chapter with 5 free tickets to this year's conference in Charlotte, NC and our chapter is providing a $200 travel stipend in conjunction with each of these tickets.

 All active and current, dues paying members are encouraged to apply. 


Hampton Roads - CBP Connects

Event dates: June 9-11

Scholarship Application Window: April 10th - April 17th

Scholarship Value: Registration + $200 per person (gas, parking & food), $1200 for lodging, up to 2 rooms, to be paid separately

Our good friend Andrew Coplon from CBP Connects has offered our chapter 5 registrations for the Charlotte conference June 9 - 11. We would like to offer 5 scholarships to pay for travel expenses associated with the conference.


Each $200 scholarship would cover:
Gas - approx 660 miles round trip from Norfolk, $100 - $120 per vehicle
Parking - per vehicle = $32.19 ($10.73 per night)
Food not provided by the conference


San Antonio Chapter - Hop & Brew School, WSET Level 3

Scholarship: Yakima Chief Hop & Brew School 2025

Established in 2004, Hop & Brew School® began as an annual event hosted by Hopunion, now known as Yakima Chief Hops. Inviting hundreds of brewers and hop enthusiasts from all over the world to Yakima, Washington, HBS attendees have had the opportunity to experience a deeper connection with family farms while learning more about the important role that hops play in the brewing process. Since its inception, the event has always included a comprehensive harvest experience, from farm and facility tours to educational brewing seminars, to sneak peeks at upcoming hop products, and networking opportunities. Plus, you can't beat those fresh hop beers on draft!


Tuition for general admission + a $1000 travel stipend for airfare, lodging, or meals will be awarded to each recipient.


Scholarship: NAPA Valley Wine Academy - WSET Level 3 Wine

The course includes detailed sessions on the key factors in wine production—location, grape growing, winemaking, maturation, and bottling—as well as comprehensive analyses of still, sparkling, and fortified wines from around the world.
Upon successful completion of this WSET® Level 3 Certification Course and Exam, you will have gained: In-depth training on wines of the world with an understanding of the factors that influence style, quality, and price.


Wine knowledge applicable to sales, hospitality, and wholesale areas of the industry, but also to those wishing to gain a deeper knowledge of wines around the world.
