Assistant Brewer - Los Angeles, CA

Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a full time assistant brewer! We are an adventurous brewery that values the diversity of our Los Angeles community and we want our team to be representative of that.
We specialize in hoppy beers, traditional lagers, and thoughtfully crafted stouts. We also experiment with unique processes and local ingredients among other things. We currently have 2 fully operational breweries: a 7 barrel brewhouse in Highland Park and a 3 vessel 15 barrel brewhouse in Chinatown. Quality is always in the forefront for our brewery. We are a small, tight-knit crew, so you will be involved in every aspect of the brewery from developing and making beers all the way to packaging.

A few requirements:

At least 21 years of age
Ability to lift 55 lb bags and move 160 lb kegs
Ability to safely work with chemicals, vessels under pressure and high temperature liquids

Not required but a BIG PLUS:

Science or homebrewing background
Brewing experience in a production brewery
