Beer Memory:
|
My boyfriend, a craft brewer and beer sales rep with whom Im very much in love, realizing during one of our first phone conversations that before he met me hed watched an episode of the beer Internet show I co-host. While watching it, hed developed a crush on my video persona and lamented the fact that we hadnt met, even though hed been working at the same festival where Id shot the segment. A few days after he matched the me on the phone with the me in the video, we discovered that we had in fact met at that festival although neither of us remembers. How do we know this? We found each others business cards in our Rolodexes. Craft beer brought us together and the universe works in magical ways. |

Proudest
Beer Moment:
|
Pitching a series of stories about Pennsylvania state legislative hearings on craft beer to an editor Id never worked with. Covering the story required travel, an ability to report on government processes, knowledge of the local craft beer industry and its players, plus an overnight stay out of town. The editor said shed already assigned the story but I sounded like I knew the subject much better than the original reporter. She hired me to handle the stories and continues to have me write much of her craft beer coverage. |
