Short Biography:
My start in the brewing industry began with a professor's suggestion when
I was in college studying Biotechnology. No one, especially me, knew I
had found my future when I accepted an internship at Moosejaw Pizza &
Dells Brewing Co. in 2002. My past knowledge of science, and scientific
procedure meshed perfectly with my passion for brewing craft beer. Driven
to expand my knowledge of craft beer I took the MBAA Brewing and Malting
course in 2005 and soon became the first female brewmaster in the cheese
head state. (Wisconsin)
I attended my first Craft Brewer's Conference in Seattle in 2006 and found it to be a fantastic opportunity to add to my knowledge of brewing and connect with my fellow brewers across the country and beyond. Presenting to my colleagues at CBC Boston last spring, and now, sharing my insights with the brewing community through Probrewer.com is my way of giving back and paying forward to those in our community who share my passion for great craft beer.
